Privacy policy

What we collect

• Quotes you post: insurer, premium, coverage details, state, ZIP, and notes. Posts are public — don't include your name, policy number, address, or phone number.
• Votes: your verdict on a quote. Votes are anonymous and aggregated.
• Technical data: we store a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address (SHA-256 with a site salt) to prevent spam and enforce one-vote-per-person. We never store raw IP addresses and the hash can't be reversed into an IP.

What we don't collect

No accounts, no names, no emails, no tracking cookies for advertising. We don't sell personal data — there's barely any to sell.

Cookies

We don't set any cookies of our own. Quote partners you click through to have their own privacy policies.

Third-party links

"Compare quotes" buttons take you to partner sites. Their privacy practices are their own — check their policies before submitting info there.

Data removal

Posted something you regret? Since posts are anonymous we can't verify ownership automatically — contact us via the address in our terms describing the post and we'll review removal requests.

Children

This site is intended for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect data from children.
